EVALUATION PRELIMINARY TASK 2

Our preliminary task, was about a young man who saw a poster up against the wall, and it was about a interview for JD. So he decided to go to the interview and he was asked a few normal interview questions. And he was trying to be quite flirtatious with her in a kind of funny way. In my group there was Abi Raji who played the interviewer and Taju Deen who played the interviewee.
We made sure that we included all of the editing techniques this was the match on action, the eyeline match, shot/ reverse shot and the 180 degree rule.

We made sure that we used the Match on Action, this is known when Taju walked through the door and we could see him appearing on the other side of the door. This is a Match on Action shot because we can clearly see Taju opening the door then when he walked through the door we could see his face instead of seeing the back of him. Then the eyeline match is when Taju was looking at the poster because he looked directly at the poster and then we zoomed into the poster so that the audience were able to see it. And lastly the shot/reverse shot is when Taju and Abi are having a conversation, so we can see the back of Abi's head when Taju is talking and we can see the back of Taju's head when Abi was talking. And when this conversation as going on we made sure that we kept with the 180 degree rule.

I think that the film we made was really good, we made sure that we followed all the editing techniques. This means that we have met our preliminary task, especially when it came to following the 180 degree rule, we made sure that we never broke this or else this will change the whole angle of the film/.And we made sure that the speech was clear enough for everyone to understand not only what they were saying but also what was going on in the actual  film. I think the process of the film went very well and I am happy with the outcome of the film we made.

To make this film more better I probably would have added a graphic match shot, this is where we are focused on something and then it changes into something in the shape of the previous image. So for example when Taju was looking at the poster, we then could have done a graphic match and then changed it into the door he was walking through or something along those lines.
